My passion for Wushu as lead me to win six major international wushu championships, including the European Junior Wushu Championships in 2003, 2005, and 2007. One of the schools that I attended during that time was the Beijing Schichahai Sports School. Over the next 12 more years, I continued taking part in these prestigious competitions, routinely traveling between Russia and China for formal training. The course resulted in numerous accumulated hours of Wushu training so that by the time I turned seven, I was able to participate in my first International Championship, which took place in China. The training program was rigorous, consisting of six mandatory hours of wushu training every day, six days a week. Throughout my early years, I studied extensively, including at a specialized sports school in Moscow, Russia. My journey with martial arts began when I turned four years old. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there. Thanks for sharing your story with us Amina. Today we’d like to introduce you to Amina Materukhina.
